A Light Table is a great tool. It opens the spectrum of possibilities in the everyday work stations as it can be used in many different ways.
So far in my classroom we have used it to build with different materials, both three-dimensional and bi-dimensional. Children can use transparent cubes, pieces of plastic or what they call “diamonds” which are different kinds of prisms made of transparent glass.
I will keep on updating this page with different ideas on how to use the Light Table, but so far check out the materials we use and their possibilities!
