On the 8th of March we wanted to tell the kids about a woman (or a girl) who has done something important, meaningful and worth admiring. We thought about Malala, since her story is as incredible as the one a superhero would have and at the same time it is a real person. We told the kids she wanted girls to have the right to go to school, and that there were adults who were not happy with her demands and who shot her. Then we also told them that she survived and after some time managed to build her school. We even told them that on 2014 she got the Nobel Peace Prize and that there are many that support her achievements. After our talks, kids made paintings about Malalas life and how they think she experienced all that. Check out the video and the kids comments!
